Quickie: Day 1.

Today marks the first day that the Iraqi Army and security forces take control of patrolling the major cities in Iraq. While I am somewhat skeptical that will be an easy transition, I do believe this is the right move. It helps the Iraqis learn how to deal with a massive security operation while our troops are still nearby.

I wish nothing but the best of luck to the brave Iraqi soldiers, citizens and politicians.
