Yes, the Taliban are evil. But keep in mind that they regained their strength largely due to the fact that the Bush disaster in Iraq diverted resources and man power.
There is the legacy of conservatism.

Really? You blame this on Bush too? "Wow" is all I can say. They probably didn't start to do these things until Bush went to war against them, huh?
But just so I understand, you're in favor of Bush putting more resources to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban (due to this kind of violence against their own people), but you're against going to Iraq to rid the world of another evil regime doing the same thing and at this very moment fighting the most dangerous terrorist organization in the world. Makes sense...
