Remember the hysterical pleas by the Democrats to pass the stimulus bill? Remember how many jobs would be lost if we waited to you know, actually read what was in the “stimulus” package?
Well, how many hard-working Americans won’t be working at all after this little weekend getaway?
It’s so nice to see the President has such perspective.

As a devout and hard-line liberal, I had the sad duty of discussing the dwindling monthly budget with my family. After laying out some cut-backs in general spending, I was taken aback by my teenage daughter and her absolutely brilliant suggestion:
"Dad, let me borrow your car keys and your credit card. I'm going to go to the mall and buy all of those things that I've wanted these past few years. I can spend our way out of this and, you'll see, our budget will be back on track in no time!"
You can't imagine how proud I was to hear this from this wonderful young lady who may, one day, be President of the United States.
