It’s nice to see that the future director of the CIA will put the rights of suspected terrorists ahead of the safety of American citizens.
Look, I don’t want innocent people tortured, and if that were to happen, that would really be terrible. However, I am not comfortable with shelving incredibly successful forms of interrogation, and thereby risking the lives of Americans, to look like “good guys” to the rest of the world.
I just find this incredibly troubling.
